This company actually is a business selling Indian/Hindu art, but
they have a wonderful
free newsletter every month that discusses
(with illustrations/photos of artwork) the history of Indian/Asian art
and also the background of the subjects in the art.  The nice thing:
the informative newsletter doesn't try to sell you anything.  If you
don't want the newsletter, you can just check out the Newsletter
Archives and read the stories about Hanuman, Krishna, Buddha,
etc.  The archives go back to 1999, I think.  Lots of research goes
into these articles.  Worth a peek.
